Last few months

Allan and I have been doing some landscaping in the front and sides of the house. We got a kitten and we got a new car. That's what we have been up to lately. Allan's work is going well and we are still loving our house. This Saturday (18th) is the one year anniversary of owning our home. There is always work or updating to do, as many of you know. It's never-ending but worth it. We love it!! Here are some pictures from the last few months. Excuse the quality of photos- all of them were taken using my iphone.

Before/After of Garage!

We are thrilled with the newly finished garage. We bought some white cabinets to store things. The new shelf(two photos at bottom) above the cars is holding the rest of our boxed belongings.

Our house has a lot of wasted space behind closets and under the stairwell. Our handyman is opening them both up. We are excited to get these projects started. We have been waiting for Sam to be done with other houses he's been at the last six months, in our neighborhood.For the stairwell area, it will make our current coat closet a large L shape. He is also adding an electrical outlet under the stairs for me as well! The guest room upstairs has a rather large space, maybe 6 feet deep by 4-5feet deep. He will knock out the wall seen in the picture below and then drywall and paint it.

We are having our garage finished with drywall and painted all white. Sam is also adding shelves for all our storage boxes! Here are the before pics. I will post the 'after' pics when he is finished. He is just starting now, so check back in a few days.
