A New AMERICAN!!!!!

Allan was sworn in as a new American citizen on Friday at the LA Sports Arena! There were 6000 inductees and about 12,000+ family and friends there as well. It was the CRAZIEST day. Talk about disorganization and chaos. It was a hot day and the line for Allan to check in was longer than all the lines at Disneyland on its busiest day. It appeared to be at least a mile long, in the blazing sun. Soon after I walked straight in to the Arena, Allan and the crowd realized that line was for nothing. Pandemonium occurred while people were trying to find the proper line. The ceremony itself was pleasant. I have some video that we will post when we have a chance to post. We are still tired from the busiest week ever.

Birthday flowers

Thanks to my mom for these flowers that she had delivered. She had them to look exactly like our wedding flowers and they did!!

Megan's Bday and day after moving day!

Hello everyone,
Last night was our first night in our new place. The movers left us with a sea of boxes and wrapping paper (even though we unpacked majority of it while they were here) last afternoon. We are still tired from the past few days of packing/moving/unpacking. Last night we walked across the street to Los Cabos, a great mexican place across the street, and met Jon and Michelle for beer, mango margaritas and dinner. We really needed it at that point. All four of us were so tired.

Thanks to everyone who emailed/texted/rang me to wish good things for my birthday. I appreciate it!

We have hired a property management company to take over our house in Thousand Oaks. He will do everything for us...find a tenant most importantly! Anyone know anyone who needs a house in TO?

We finally found a new place to call home!

Although we haven't signed a lease just yet, doing that on the 15th, we have put a deposit down on an apartment in the Del Mar Highlands area of San Diego! The complex is called Signature Point.

It's 1.7 miles straight down the road to the ocean; half mile east of the 5 freeway,off Del Mar Heights Rd exit and directly across from a huge, awesome shopping center, library and theaters.

It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath upstairs apartment with a 2 car attached garage. I will post pictures when we are actually moved in. Allan and I are excited because we will be able to walk everywhere! And, the complex has an amazing gym, pool, spa, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball court, outside fireplace and bbq's!

The weather is great there and I think we will enjoy it. We call it our one year living in an urban type atmosphere. The apt. is on a busy corner-we'd be up above it, though. The location to all the shopping and the beach just can't be beat, compared to the myriad of places we have looked at!

We just got back last night after spending 5 days there. All the houses, apartments and condos we looked at had at least one thing wrong with it. This apartment has the space and a good location. We are looking forward to it.

The TNA game is in stores!

After 2 years of hard work. TNA Wrestling was released today!! Megan and I wanted to go to a store and take a picture, but we've been too busy trying to find somewhere to live. I found a photo that someone posted when they bought the game today. Here it is.
